As we know that starting your first job is always a stressful time, we assign you a buddy to help you find your feet. They will help you when you first start and are on hand to answer any questions you may have – whether it be how to order your lunch or dealing with a work issue.

How to join Blum

Trainee

You'll start as a trainee with a permanent contract at Blum. During your first few months you'll gain experience in different departments and get to know the company while you get the hang of things.

Studying while working

At Blum you can take part in training courses to suit your needs as well as detailed discussions in a team environment. Studying part-time while working at Blum allows you to gain practical experience while continuing your education, for example by completing a Master's degree programme.

Our Production department has to manufacture the right fittings at the right time in the right quantity and in the right quality so they are available to our customers all over the world exactly when needed. Over 4000 employees work in maintenance, machine operation and logistics with the dispatch team.

As an international organisation we have an international presence, with over 30 subsidiaries who look after our customers in 120 countries. Our most important task is to make sure they are satisfied and get exactly the products they need – all over the world.

They make sure everything goes like clockwork: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Transport Logistics set the pace, whether it's a question of supplying Production with optimum materials on schedule, or distributing our goods and services to our customers and partners all round the world.

Engineering

Our engineering departments are characterised by their extensive technical and technological expertise as well as a high capacity for innovation. The work here is very varied, dealing with production machines as well as manufacturing and quality, and our staff don't just get their hands dirty with production machines or products.
